WIP Update

It's been a while since my last WIP update.

The reason for the lack of updates is not very exciting, I simply haven't done much.

It's still the summer holidays, and we've had visitors and days out, which caused a complete disruption to anything resembling a normal routine. Then my daughter came down with a cold.

Catching a cold in winter is one thing.

Catching one in the middle of summer feels particularly unfair.

All of which means that writing has taken a back seat for a little while.

But that's okay. Sometimes life gets in the way, and the most productive thing I can do is accept it rather than feel guilty about not writing.

I'm planning to get back to the writing desk properly this week, so hopefully my next update will contain considerably more actual writing.

We'll see.
